ANNUAL TCM REVIEW 2019

Kim Rutten: Marketing & Communication officer

The end of the year is approaching, time for some (self-)reflection! During this festive period we ask our TCM colleagues to take a look back at their personal TCM highlights of 2019. Today it is Kim’s turn, our Marketing & Communication officer.

Kim, what will you mainly remember about the past TCM year?

  • A new role was awaiting me after my maternity leave: not only as a new mum, but also as the new communication & marketing manager of TCM Belgium. Since January 2019, I combine my years of experience in credit control with my passion for writing! Thanks to a lot of flexibility, I can keep all my (Christmas) balls in the air without any problems. It’s reassuring to be able to combine my maternal and professional ambitions.  #greatballs

  • If you know me even just a little bit, you are not surprised by my joy when eating. And nothing gives more satisfaction than sharing that indulgence (though not the food!) Luckily, a lot of foodies find work at TCM, necessary to cover all the restaurant expenses. I also have to thank TCM for my culinary highlight of 2019: a mouth-watering work lunch at the Brussels Bozar star-awarded restaurant. What a finger licking delight! #kimdoesntsharefood

  • TCM Belgium is part of an international network, and this year I was able to ‘taste’ it to the fullest. Brussels has almost become my second hometown because of the International Credit Management Day (13/05/2020), which I help organize. I now know all about Manneken Pis and other Brussels curiosities, and a lot about the endless entertainment opportunities our capital has to offer. Not only preparing such an event, but also the closer contacts with our international partners, provide a very fun and instructive experience. #bruxellesmabelle

Thank you, Kim!
