Reduce creditor’s admin – the CASIUS example

Nobody likes unpaid receivables.  They reduce liquidity and expand administration work. Gathering and sending necessary information to the debt collection office takes time. So does the entailing follow up.

TCM solved a good portion of these red tape problems through an application.  Let’s analyse the case of CASIUS.

What does Casius do?

casiusYou need an electrician, a plumber or else?  Describe your project on this website and Casius manages to get you detailed offers.
Casius is a company that developed an online platform allowing consumers to get detailed quotes from professionals for construction, gardening or other crafts.

What is TCM’s role?

TCM collects debts for the craftsmen that work through the Casius platform (ie the plumbers, electricians, gardeners, etc.).  Indeed, it happens from time to time that their invoices to their clients remain unpaid. They have a simple solution at hand: connect to their Casius account and send the claim to TCM in a click. The craftsman (Casius-member) gets immediate confirmation and TCM starts collection efforts. The professional hopefully gets his money back quite quickly.

With this system, Casius offers an additional service to its members (the professionals). These craftsmen have a simple and advantageous access to a reputed debt collection service.

Practical aspects

The craftsman data is already present in the Casius platform due to the quotes/offers system. His client’s details are there too. It is quite simple to transfer the required data to TCM via a secured application. This reduces administration. And if the debtor is not in the Casius system, the craftsman can introduce it manually anyway.

Naturally, the process is subject to rigorous ethics including the recent GDPR (privacy regulation).  And, as our clients testify, we may say that the system is efficient. Less than 1 percent of our claims need to go to courts.

The craftsman can follow up all his claims on line on the Casius platform and gets more details through the TCM platform.  It’s all intuitive and user-friendly.

Technically speaking

Application program interface - APIThe Casius and TCM IT systems connect via an “API” (Application Program Interface), being a relatively simple way for both systems to exchange required information and updates.

The benefit of such system is that once designed and programmed, it is cheap to use and maintain. Users spare much time and avoid typing mistakes. Moreover, the system is secured and meets the most stringent requirements.

.

Conclusion

TCM’s data processing allows for clients to connect to it in an automated way (via ‘API’). This reduces admin work significantly and allows real time follow up of claims as from the client’s own IT system.
