Warning: NEW phishing mail in name of TCM Belgium!

On Monday 21/11/2022, a NEW phishing mail was sent out in the name of TCM Belgium, and these emails are still being sent out to this day.

How do you recognise an e-mail sent from TCM Belgium?

• The mail address always ends in @tcm.be! The mail address that was used (fixdebt.services(1,2,3,….21…)@outlook.com) is not a mail address linked to TCM Belgium.

• TCM Belgium is a certified collection agency, but not a bailiff office.

• In our signature there is a standard contact number.

• We do not seize or order the police to intervene. Seizures by bailiffs may only be carried out after an enforceable title has been obtained.

• We are based in Tienen, we are a Belgian company with a Belgian company number (BE 0451 082 959). In the phishing mail, however, you will find the following at the bottom: “TCM Gerechtsdeurwaarders N.V., KvK 50884565 | Achmea Zorgverzekeringen N.V., KvK 28080300”. So that is not correct.

So be alert when you receive this kind of mail, and do not proceed immediately to payment.

You can also use this contact point to pass on information about this phishing mail to the FPS Economy, as well as to forward the phishing mail to suspicious@safeonweb.be. A complaint for forgery has been filed with the police.
